Memory Pulse 1.6 — Toy theme, Gallery, and a guided first run
Memory Pulse 1.6 is live on the App Store and Google Play. This update is about how the game looks and how you get started: a new Toy theme, a Gallery for themes and soundbanks, a guided first run, and a Help Center when you need answers.
Daily and Weekly challenges are still the same worldwide race. 1.6 makes the path into them smoother — and gives you more ways to make the board yours.
Toy theme
Toy is a full new look: its own catalogue entry, color tokens, palette, and board shine and flash. Unlock it with coins or as an IAP theme bundle. It only shows up in Settings once you own it.
Toy also ships with colorblind-friendly palettes, and you can sync the app icon to Neon or Toy (with a confirmation step) so the home screen matches the board you play.
Gallery
The new Gallery brings themes and soundbanks into one place. Preview, equip, or tap Buy to jump to the Shop. You’ll find it in the menu next to Shop — it replaces the old soundbank catalogue.
Cosmetic only: themes and sounds change how the game feels, not how it scores.
Interactive tutorial
New players get a guided four-note tutorial on first launch, with completion overlays and a retry countdown if you need another try. When you finish, the game hands you off to today’s Daily.
Difficulty select is now a full-screen flow instead of a sheet — clearer on phone and tablet.
Help Center
A Help Center hub with articles and reading tracking is available from home, Settings, and contextual entry points. Expanded articles cover resets, rankings, revive, and the economy — in 12 locales.
Home and mode select
Play and Challenges sit in one list. Cards pick up petal tints from your theme, and Daily / Weekly Challenge titles show in full. Shortcuts for Weekly Challenge and Feedback sit close at hand.
Solo and Versus setup screens show the player and coin balance more clearly. Challenge notifications open in a compact sheet from the header.
Economy and gameplay polish
Coin gains animate on the balance chip instead of snackbars. Revive is offered on scored game overs; if you’re out of coins, you go to the Shop. Daily can mute the continue / revive offer when you prefer a clean end.
Shares of results present Memory Pulse by name. Duel game over focuses on the winner and sequence length. Petals stay locked during the observe turn so you don’t tap early.
Plus quieter polish: Neon press and flash aligned with Toy, splash independent of theme until home, Shop spinner and rewarded-ad cancel when you leave, and theme surfaces in the reward inbox.
